2022 Kure It Cancer Research Fellowship Grant

Kure It is accepting grant applications from comprehensive cancer centers.

Kure It Cancer Research was established in 2007 with the goal of becoming the leader in granting funds to cancer researchers conducting innovative research projects to better treat and ultimately cure underfunded cancers. Kure It directly supports groundbreaking research at leading comprehensive cancer centers through its grants and awards.

PROGRAM SUMMARY
The proposed research project should be a new project intended to support clinical and translational work to advance the treatment approach for either brain, gastro-intestinal - bile duct, skin or kidney cancer that is not receiving significant funding from any other source. The applicant will need to justify "underfunded" in the context of cancer research and how the proposed research project fits that definition.
The funding decision will be made by the Kure It Medical Advisory Board in conjunction with the Kure It Board of Directors.

APPLICATION DATES
• Submission deadline: Tuesday, November 8, 2022
• Decision date: Tuesday, November 29, 2022
• Start of grant term: Tuesday, December 13, 2022

APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Post-doctoral fellows are encouraged to apply, however, they must have institutional letters of support from a faculty member at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor Level.

APPLICATION DETAILS
The amount of funding available for this grant is $150,000. One grant will be awarded. The duration allows for 1 to 3-year terms at the discretion of the investigator. The funding provided herein is intended to support clinical and translational work to advance the treatment approach to either brain, gastro-intestinal - bile duct or skin or kidney cancer.
