Kure It Cancer Research was established in 2007 with the goal of becoming the leader in granting funds to cancer researchers conducting innovative research projects to better treat and ultimately cure underfunded cancers. Kure It directly supports groundbreaking research at leading comprehensive cancer centers through its grants and awards. PROGRAM SUMMARY The proposed research project should be a new project intended to support clinical and translational work to advance the treatment approach to kidney cancer that is not receiving significant funding from any other source. Applicants will need to justify "underfunded" in the context of cancer research and how the proposed research project fits that definition. The funding decision will be made by the Kure It Medical Advisory Board in conjunction with the Kure It Executive Officers and Board of Directors. APPLICATION DATES • Submission Deadline: Monday, October 31st, 2022 • Decision Date: Monday, November 21st, 2022 • Start of Grant Term: Monday, December 5th, 2022 APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA All faculty in any series, including adjunct and professional research series, are eligible to apply: Instructor, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors. Postdoctoral fellows are not eligible. APPLICATION DETAILS The amount of funding available for this grant is $250,000. One grant will be awarded. The duration allows for 1–3-year terms at the discretion of the investigator.
