Message from the Director of the Biostatistics Shared Resource

Dan Gil
Daniel L. Gillen, PhD., director of the Biostatistics Shared Resource program.
The goal of the Biostatistics Shared Resource (BSR) program is to provide statistical and intellectual support to all Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center investigators at all phases of scientific projects.

BSR activities cover all aspects of the design, analysis and interpretation of investigations in all areas of cancer-related research.

A primary function of the program is to assist new and senior investigators with grant preparation for cancer-related studies that are in need of statistical expertise for issues of design, choice of methods and developing a detailed plan of analysis.

The BSR also assists with data analyses and the preparation of abstracts, papers and presentations.

Cancer Center members who wish to request a statistical consultation with BSR faculty are invited to fill out a request form
