Art for the Soul
Creative techniques to foster better health while coping with cancer.  No art experience required

Brain Tumor Education and Support Group
This group is for individuals diagnosed with a brain tumor and those who support them. The focus of the group will be both education and support. Some meetings will include a speaker; others an opportunity to share with each other.

Dates:  Meetings are held the second Monday of every month.
Time:  6 to 7:30 p.m.

“Buddy” Program
The “Buddy” program matches newly diagnosed individuals and those who are experiencing stress related to their diagnosis with other cancer patients of similar age, gender, and diagnosis.  Each “buddy” is trained to provide support for patients with this complex disease.

CancerCare: Connect® Education Workshops
CancerCare’s leading experts in oncology provide up-to-date information in one-hour workshops over the telephone or online.  Workshops are free of charge — no phone charges apply. Community Lecture Series
This informational series is intended to raise awareness of the latest discoveries and to educate our community about early detection, prevention, treatment options and how cancer affects our daily lives.

Kids Konnected
Kids Konnected is a nonprofit organization that provides friendship, understanding, education and support to kids who have a parent with cancer or lost a parent to cancer.

Dates:  Meetings are held the fourth Monday of every month.

Korean Women's Support Group
Help and support for Korean-speaking women who are coping with a cancer diagnosis.

Look Good, Feel Better
Support group for women with cancer that teaches beauty techniques to help enhance appearance and self-image during treatment.

Music Therapy Program
The Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center offers music therapy for inpatients, outpatients and their families. Tim Ringgold, MT-BC, NICU-MT, is a board-certified music therapist who provides individual and group sessions at UC Irvine Medical Center at no cost to the patient.  Appointments with our music therapist are provided at flexible times.

Multiple Myeloma Support Group
Patients, family members and friends are encouraged to join us at this meeting.

Optimal Nutrition During Cancer Treatment
A registered dietitian conducts a class on topics including healthy nutrition, dealing with side effects, maintaining optimal weight, supplement use, and more.
