To perform innovative educational, basic, clinical and epidemiologic research into the causes, treatment and effects of cancer and allied diseases
To provide treatment and improve the quality of life for those with cancer through clinical trials and compassionate care
To connect with the community through educational and clinical outreach programs
To serve as a focal point for the multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary efforts of the University of California, Irvine in the fight against cancer
