The word “cancer” describes more than 100 different diseases. At the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, we combine world-class patient care with innovative research to diagnose, prevent and treat cancer in all its forms.
Unfortunately, however, the leading-edge research needed to bring about a cancer-free future for our families, friends and neighbors requires far more resources than government funding can provide. But you can help.
By joining the Anti-Cancer Challenge, June 10-11, 2017 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, you can open doors to better treatments and more effective prevention strategies by raising money to fund lifesaving cancer research.
The Challenge kicks-off Saturday, June 10, with the Anti-Cancer Challenge Festival featuring live, family-friendly entertainment, a children’s ride, a stationary bike event, and food and refreshments from local vendors, and culminates Sunday with the grassroots Cycle for Cures (bicycle tours for novice and experienced riders alike, ranging from 10 miles to 100 miles) and Run for Research.
100% of all funds raised will go directly to fund cancer research and bring us ever closer to a world without cancer.
