Summary: The Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) system is a secure, web-based application for building and managing online surveys and databases. The UC Irvine Health Sciences Information System (HAIS) team offers REDCap via a self-service model, wherein all the infrastructure/backup/security/network is provided by the HAIS, and the end user would use the self-paced training video to learn the tool. I will demonstrate how to build a database by using one of projects that I currently work on.
