The Michael Hudson Patient and Family Support Fund was established in 1998 by Michael’s family who observed several other patients having difficulty getting some of their very basic needs met.

When a serious illness occurs, additional financial demands are often placed on a patient and his or her family.  The Michael Hudson Patient and Family Support Fund has helped alleviate some of the stress created by this situation allowing the patient to focus on healing.  Some examples of what the fund has been used to pay for are:

•    Rent
•    Utilities
•    Transportation
•    Groceries
